We encourage you to view all the documents to the left to get all the details you need (and then some). And of course, the best way to answer your questions is to ask us, via email or by calling the Camp Office. Even better than that, schedule a tour to come see L.G. Cook for yourself! Tours are available upon request September-May.
Parent Survival Guide – Here’s all the news fit-to-print to help prepare you for your child’s week at L.G. Cook 4-H Camp.
Camper Guide Book – Like the Parent Survival Guide, but geared toward our campers to let them know exactly what to expect and what to get excited about .
Camp Schedule – One of our camper's favorite features of the L.G. Cook Summer Program is that our days are just jam packed with activities. Though some daily schedules may look similar, no two days at Summer Camp are ever the same!
Course Offerings - Campers get to select three different clasess they'll take throughout their week at Camp. Check out our many class options throughout multiple Course Areas to see what new things your camper would like to try.
Packing List – One of everyone's first questions is “but what should my camper bring to Camp?” Our Packing List will give you some tips to make sure your camper (and their luggage) are all set for their time here.
Menu – Food is a big part of a campers stay at L.G. Cook. Our campers eat fifteen meals with us during their week here! Our kitchen works tirelessly to provide a variety of meals to keep all of our campers happy, and a salad bar is provided for each meal. In addition we have snack every evening, and fresh fruit available multiple times throughout the day. We offer dietary options for campers who are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free. If you have any questions about dietary policies, please contact us. Here is a sample Camp menu. (Menu is subject to change.)
One of the biggest draws of L.G. Cook is that we are a tech-free facility. Your camper's week here might might be their only week of their whole year they don't come into contact with a screen. Learn more about why we do what we do.
